At MB Jarvie Wheel Balancing Glasgow we use the award winning, state of the art, Hunter Road Force Elite diagnostic balancer. Using the Hunter Road Force Elite diagnostic balancer, we are able to not only balance wheels, but solve wheel vibration problems and tyre pull issues that traditional balancers cannot. By replicating the forces a wheel/tyre assembly is subject to when driven on the road, the Hunter Road Force Elite detects non-balance, radial-force related problems associated with tyre uniformity, tyre and rim runout, wheel to balancer mounting errors and improper seating of tyre to rim.

Hunter Road Force Elite Services
All cars are different and the number operations required to achieve the optimal configuration for minimal vibration or minimal tyre pull varies from vehicle to vehicle. Therefore, we are unable to apply a flat rate to our Hunter Road Force Elite services. Instead we apply rate per wheel.
ADDITIONAL TIME MAY BE REQUIRED SHOULD WHEEL/TYRE ASSEMBLIES REQUIRE PREPARATION PRIOR TO MEASUREMENT (E.G. DUE TO CORROSION AT WHEEL FLANGE, ETC).

The following illustration shows the measured wheel alignment angles straight from the Hunter Elite TD aligner. The colour-coding is a clear way of displaying whether a measurement inside or outside of manufacturer’s specified tolerance. Measurements are only made once the vehicle has passed our pre-alignment checks and following completion of any required special operations (see above).

The illustration clearly shows that the front and rear toe angles on this vehicle are outwith the manufacturer’s specified tolerance and therefore must be adjusted to correct. The measurements obtained by the Hunter Elite TD Aligner confirm that incorrect wheel alignment has been causing or, at the very least, is contributing to the customer’s reported symptoms.
Action
Fortunately this vehicle has fully adjustable front and rear toe which allowed for a straight forward thrust-line alignment to bring the wheel alignment into specification. When adjusting alignment angles we work to specified values, not tolerance. We want your car to be the best it can be.

For this vehicle, outside of standard pre-alignment checks, no special operations (e.g. ballast loading/suspension calibration/etc) were required. Seizure did not inhibit adjustment.

The measurements obtained by the Hunter Elite TD Aligner confirm that incorrect wheel alignment has been causing or, at the very least, is contributing to the customer’s reported symptoms.
Action
Fortunately this vehicle has fully adjustable suspension which allowed the required adjustments to be completed to bring the wheel alignment to specification. The required action included rear camber adjustments plus front and rear toe adjustments. NOTE: Despite the total rear toe angle being within specification at the initial measurement, adjustment was required, as when adjusting rear camber, toe angles will alter and therefore also require adjustment to correct/maintain specification. Once the rear camber and rear toe/thrust-line had been adjusted/zeroed, it is of critical importance that the front axle toe also be adjusted (vehicles with fully adjustable front and rear suspension, front toe must always be adjusted following any rear axle adjustment to ensure “steer ahead” angle is correct). When adjusting alignment angles we work to specified values, not tolerance. We want your car to be the best it can be.
